YAY!!! We are finally moved into the new place, except for our bed and our couch, which I think we’re going to have to get a U-Haul for this weekend. I have never been happier!! It is so beautiful, and we have already made a few new friends. I am going to miss our old house, but I know things are going to be great and perfect here. Our old neighborhood was a bit too snooty. Here, it’s cool cuz all our porches are attached so everyone gets to know each other and it’s really close-knit. Every time I leave the house, at least one neighbor is outside waving at me. And we are still in Japantown, but more downtown now, so we live super duper close to all our friends!! I am going to be walking to cyborg_princess’s house a.k.a. “thug mansion” every day to bug her. And I can’t wait to ride bikes with Gretchen, Baisa, Adam, Jai, and everyone else who lives near us now.
Ellie and Matt were the first to come over and see our place last weekend. We walked to the karaoke bar down the street and got a little too drunk… heh… Oh! And we ran into Little Jason, an old friend from high school. He’s doing well. Check out his band The Chinkees!
