I’ve been hanging out a lot (maybe TOO much?!?!) with Melissa and Blair lately. Melissa, I know you’re rolling your eyes cuz we have told this story sooo many times, but it’s still funny dude!! Rewind to 1996: Me and Blair met on AOL (hahaha) and became internet girlfriends. Remember internet relationships?! :-D We were both youngens with strict parents and no drivers licenses, so our torrid love affair was pretty much limited to instant messenger, secret love letters I hid under my mattress, and occasional meetings at the mall or the Milpitas Teen Center. Blair was a Gwennabe, and I was really pimply and wore ugly silver space suits. Blair had this mean friend named Melissa. Melissa was a grumpy bully appropriately nicknamed “Melissa the Teenage Bitch.” Once, she bullied me in the bathroom at a ska show because I was wearing too much glitter. Hmmm I wonder how she got the name Teenage Bitch? ;-) Anyway, about a year later, Blair broke my heart (on the internet, naturally!!) and we stopped talking. I lost touch with both of them for 7 years. One day Melissa stumbled across my eBay auctions and, not realizing who I was, e-mailed me about possibly using my clothes for a photo shoot (she’s a makeup artist, and a good one too, bitches!). When we realized who the other person was, we shared a good chuckle about how stupid we were, and immediately became friends. [Awwwww!!]

But whatever happened to Blair?! Apparently, Blair and Melissa had stopped talking a few years ago when Blair threw a Twinkie in Melissa’s face at church. But around the time that I started hanging out with Melissa, Blair and Melissa re-united too. We all went to Trannyshack last month and celebrated our renewed friendship. In these pictures, this is the FIRST TIME I HAD SEEN BLAIR IN EIGHT YEARS!!! Lookin’ good, baby!!
