Brought her home on Friday nite to meet Kevin and the kitties! Kevin and Mel shared some quality man-to-man time before Mel stole me for the weekend.

I have to admit I was totally scared to do it at first because I thought for sure people would yell stuff and throw hamburgers at us. But, it ended up being SUPER fun and easy, and everyone was soooo nice to us!! We set up a little heart-covered table at SCU and gave out free cookies from Vegan Sweeties, who were kind enough to donate some yummy treats. We collected over 100 signatures, and no one threw hamburgers at us! The boys love Danielle. It is amazing how many people will sign a petition, no questions asked, when there is a pretty blonde saying, “Free cookies!” This chick should be for hire!

If you live in California you should go to their site and grab a petition. You don’t even have to set up a geek table like we did. Seriously, even if you are lazy and only get your friends to sign it, that’s easily 20 signatures! Do it or I will tell everyone that you hate animals!!
