Ummmm not really work-safe, but I guess it also depends on where you work.
So Kevin suggested we look in Oakland, and that’s where we found a ginormous 5-bedroom house in super duper cute Rockridge, the best neighborhood ever! I am so excited. I had all sorts of prejudices about Oakland before, but no more. There are so many beautiful neighborhoods here, streets with canopies of lush green trees, and the people have been welcoming and wonderful. We now live within walking distance of a bunch of nice restaurants, bars, and boutiques, so I never have to drive, thank god! (People like myself who crash their car every 3 months should not be allowed to drive anyway) And we’re only 12 minutes away from SF. I will be sure to take lots of pictures as soon as we finish un-packing and making it pretty. This is my first time renting (we owned the last 3 houses we lived in) so one thing I will have to get used to is living with ugly-colored floors that we can’t change. Oh, and pooping in a toilet that has seen billions of turds before mine. But I think I’ll live.
Anyway, this is going to be a small picture post, as I went two weeks without a computer and have a shit ton of emails, late orders, and possibly some angry customers to take care of.
