Sewing stuff

I’ve been feeling unmotivated to sew lately because I can barely walk into my sewing room without heaps of fabric and trims falling on me. I NEED to get rid of all the extra clutter so I can start fresh and get focused! So, I’m selling a ton of gorgeous stretch laces, ribbons, and trim on Etsy. Most are rare and discontinued. Snatch ‘em up before they’re gone!

Rip the Ripper

Last month, Kevin and I flew back to San Diego for the Rip The Ripper skateboard art show, in which Kevin was invited to participate. He was among 58 artists and skaters asked to create their interpretation of The Ripper graphic in their own style.

We thought it would be funny to stay at Douchebag Central, aka Hard Rock Hotel, where all the guys look like Criss Angel and/or Mystery the Pick-Up Artist. (Come to think of it, I can’t even tell the two apart). Nice hotel with great service, though!

We got a top floor room. Yay!

I swear every surface of the room was covered in horrendously overpriced snacks to tempt you. Evil!!! Anyone who’s ever traveled with me knows I am notorious for ripping into a bag of $5 M&Ms at 3am, or worse, ordering room service. So I decided to write myself a note. :-)
