Mystery Blowup Doll thingie

So what the hell is this thing? We found it at a dance supply store. First we thought it was a blow-up doll, but then we noticed it doesn’t have any holes. And it comes in 2 pieces.

Ponder that. I’m going to bed!

Jensdays Wednesdays at Lake Merritt

Every Wednesday, Jen comes over and we work on our Etsy stores together. Then we reward ourselves with a ginormous lunch at the Breakroom, where we order the same thing every single time–four vegan club sandwiches and two cupcakes, please!–and head over to the lake for some bird-watching.

(Yes, FOUR club sandwiches. That was not a typo. We really really like club sandwiches! Sometimes Jen even goes all out and gets a soup on top of all that)

Here are some of our favorite bird sightings. Too bad I didn’t have my camera when I got crapped on!!! Maybe next time.

Black-crowned night heron

You may think these guys look small, but baby geese are actually pretty giant for being babies. They are geese, after all! Check out those precious webbed feet. AD#*($SF#()*(#@%%*E*(!!!!

Lauren!!!11111

This is my friend Lauren! You may have seen her in my Etsy pics. That’s because she’s an awesome sport, and I hold her captive in my modeling sweatshop where I force her to model ridiculous outfits for me day and night. On this particular night, I thought she deserved a break from all the sequins, dance costumes and bad lingerie, so we decided to head to the Uptown for a few drinks. :-D.
