Hollywood Road Trip with Gala Darling, Day 1: Palihouse Holloway, Dinner and Hula Hoops with Nubby Twiglet, Danielle, Joel, Yume Ninja and Chubby Bunny

After being swamped with out of town events back to back, I swore off going anywhere for a long time. But then Gala randomly IM’d me one day and said “Hey do you want to go on a road trip and meet up with Nubby in L.A.?” I CAN NEVER SAY NO TO GALA, so without any hesitation I packed my bags and prepared for our first adventure together. I was excited that Danielle and Joel also had the week off of work and were planning to drive in from Vegas to meet up with us for awesome good times.

Twinkie Chan’s Birthday Night at Cat Club 1984

When I asked Twinkie what she was doing for her birthday this year, she said, “Nothing. I NEVER go out!” We ended up at 1984 @ the Cat Club, where, despite Twinkie’s insistence that she “never goes out,” the doorman gave her a big hug and said, “Nice to see you again, darling!” So busted, Twinkie. So busted!

Needs! More! Straws!!

LeinaBaby’s Meet and Greet, Drinks at the Uptown

This is going to the world’s QUICKEST blog post because I’m so swamped with Halloween orders!

Recently my friend Leina had a meet-and-greet party in Berkeley. We met at IMATS last June, and she is the cutest sweetest thing ever! You all have to check out her Youtube channel for fun makeup tips.

Milkshake and Gym Night with Chrissa

My favorite thing about Chrissa’s job (she sings in the DJ Hero demos for Activision) is that they fly her up to San Francisco for work, and she always gets a few extra days to goof off with us. Yay!

Tess and Chrissa hanging out in Chrissa’s room at the Clift Hotel. We were giggling so much that the people next door got mad and started banging on the wall! It was only like, 10pm. Grumpy farts!

We went out for milkshakes, jalapeno poppers, and other deep-fried fattiness. Afterward we felt sooooo lethargic and bloated, we decided to hit up the hotel gym for a quick 30-second workout to trick ourselves into feeling better! Good thing we were wearing sensible workout clothes.

Quickie Disneyland Adventure with Twinkie, Irene and Shandra!

The day after Comic Con, we hauled our tired booties over to Disneyland. I have to admit that at this point I was so incredibly homesick from doing out of town events almost every weekend, and all I could think about was how badly I missed my bed and my kitties. So we made it the world’s quickest Disneyland trip! Said hi to friends, rode two rides, then turned around and made the 5 hour drive back home.

Gathering of the Big-Headed Asians club (minus Maria): Twinkie, Irene, and me being awesome. Our hands are supposed to spell out BHA but we kind of suck at it.
