Behind the Scenes at Twinkie Chan’s Rap Video Shoot!

Just when you thought you had recovered from the trauma of watching Twinkie Chan’s crochet rap video, I recently discovered a goldmine of awesome behind-the-scenes pictures from the shoot. The beauty never ends!!

Die Antwoord at The Independent in San Francisco

I HEART Die Antwoord and was so excited when I found out they were coming to San Francisco all the way from South Africa! I am so in love with sweet Yolandi, the most precious little angel baby I’ve ever laid eyes on.


If you remember my obsessions with Connie Chiu and Tilda Swinton, you might notice that I kinda sorta have a “type,” haha.

Me, Sonia and Avaria. I met Sonia 10 years ago at a Pigface show (where I met Kevin, aww!) and we never saw or spoke to each other again. I can’t believe we randomly crossed paths again 10 years later and recognized each other immediately! She’s so cute and fun and has an amazing memory.

Cotton Candy Mustache Date at American Cupcake

I can’t remember why Chrissa was in town, but she was, so we decided it was the perfect excuse for a dinner date at American Cupcake! This was around the time that we first discovered American Cupcake and were eating there 3-4 times a week. Good times!

Reason #38457423 why I love my friends: Tess and Chrissa! I’d say 99% of the cotton candy we bought ended up on our faces instead of in our mouths.
