Sanrio “I Heart Nerds” 50th Anniversary Loungefly Party

As part of their 50th anniversary celebration, Sanrio threw an “I Heart Nerds” party in collaboration with Bubble Punch, and sponsored by Loungefly. I didn’t have time to plan my outfit beforehand, so we stopped by a Goodwill on the way to the party. I had 15 minutes to grab myself the ugliest pair of pastel purple elastic high-waist pants I could find, a stuffy long-sleeved blouse with a high neck, and a brown tapestry fanny pack.

Who’s all going to J-Pop Summit this weekend? I’m so excited for another magical weekend of cute food, Japanese fashion, unique shopping, and pretty girls! Here are my pictures from 2010.

Sanrio 50th Anniversary “Small Gift” VIP Opening Party, Eating Cotton Candy with Erik Estrada

Last November, Sanrio celebrated their 50th anniversary with cuteness extravaganza. Barker Hanger in Santa Monica was magically transformed into the ultimate Sanrio-themed carnival complete with ferris wheel, miniature golf course, art gallery, and most importantly, junk food for miles!

We got to attend the VIP/press preview night before it opened to the public. Free food, beer, and rides! A magical time was had by all.

Krystal, Izzy, Tori, me, Tess, and Bei. There was a beverage company trying to shove their drinks in everyone’s hands for red carpet photos. We all politely declined the cheesy product placement… except for Izzy because he’s way too nice. (Just kidding, I once posed for free mascara, so I’m not judging! ;-)

Slutty Utah Adventures! Part 1

Life hasn’t been as idiotic since Drew moved back to Utah. So one day, Tess, Jessica and I decided to fly out to visit him! Everyone thinks I’m weird for saying this, but I fucking LOVE Utah so much. I flew out for Pride 2007 (oh my god these pics make me laugh so hard every time) and had the best weekend ever. Everyone in Utah is so sweet, genuine, and nice. I really want to go back!
