With Bebe, Laura, and Kevin. This is my “I’m having fun” face.
Matt proposed to Sarah at the Cliff House. It was supposed to be a surprise, but I think she was suspicious when he wore a suit, booked a super nice hotel, and told her to pack her bags for the weekend. (She said yes anyway). Afterward, he took her to the Bubble Lounge, where there was a surprise party waiting. That time, smarty pants was genuinely surprised.

Picture of me on top right was taken by my friend Rachael for her jewelry line. Just thought I’d mention that because taken out of context, I look like I’m descending from the heavens to present the world with a donut ring. Which I guess wouldn’t be so bad either.

The only thing sadder than going to Dave & Busters is trying to go to Dave & Busters and not being able to get in. They wouldn’t accept Kevin’s ID because it had JUST expired, which is hilarious because at 41 he was the oldest out of all of us! We crowded around and tried to rally for his age (”Look at his white hair! See? He’s soooo old!”) but that didn’t work. While loitering in the parking lot trying to figure out where to go next, a drunk guy asked Irene if she was Nicki Minaj (being Chinese and all, they look exactly alike), and another guy came up to tell us, “You girls sure are funny looking.” So yeah, that’s a pretty accurate sampling of the type of guys who hang out at Dave & Busters.
We went to Cinebar in downtown San Jose instead.
