If you want to come up to the city for a bit, I will absolutely bribe you with alcohol and/or food. There are a few new, monthly club events, like PopRoxx, that are consistantly a lot of fun, and I even have a spare futon and a fuzzy, orange kitty at my place.

Anyhoo, did you make your dress in the first picture? It is way adorable.
It was actually a really big ugly vintage dress! It was pretty hideous but the fabric was ADORABLE (not sure if you can tell, but they are strawberries!) so I chopped the whole thing up and put it back together to make it wearable. So I don’t know if that counts as making it??? :-}
Huh, it’s hard to imagine that cute fabric being an ugly dress.
You know.. I was at a yard sale and found a really neat blue vintage dress with white polka dots, and I pulled it out of the box only to find it was a CULOTTE!!! So I sliced open the inseam and sewed new seams to make it a skirt instead of pants. And when people ask me if I made it, I still feel the need to share that story with them.

OK. This is just weird. I just had a booth at a different Fort Mason Center event last May! The difference is, the event was strictly for college students (although they also had to be approved), and it was very poorly planned! Ha ha. I’m sure this one’s gotten a lot more exposure though.
