We were counting down the days to this show because it was Angelspit’s first time playing my hometown Oakland (woo!). I’d just met their new bandmate Val the week prior and couldn’t wait to see the new Angelspit with extra girly energy. Not only that, my friend Michelle was in town from L.A. as Blood on the Dance Floor’s photographer, and it was my first time meeting Ash Costello of New Years Day, whom I’d been friends with online. Whewwww!

Alright, time to tidy up for Amelia’s arrival! We’ve got some IMATS-preparin’ to do all week. Who’s all going?! This is Amelia’s first IMATS ever, and she will be showing you guys a sneak preview of the awesome Arsenic/Sugarpill collaboration we’ve been working on for the past year. We are so excited to meet everyone and run into familiar faces from last year!
Internet-wise, I promise I’ll try to catch up on comments, Tweets, and emails after this weekend. Shit has been slammmmmed!

I wish I was going to IMATS again! I want to see your new display and meet Amelia! It would have been my third year but since my birthday is the following weekend and I can only afford LA once so I obviously picked my bday/disneyland celebration! I can’t wait to see pictures!!

I was debating IMATS or comic con (can’t do both) and I went with IMATS. Woohoo! Can’t wait to meet you and the sugarpill crew. Speaking of multitasking… I’m really hoping you would sew again. I missed out on a lot of great designs. :( Val looks really happy in her bloody dress. Oh y’all have such a sense of humor! >_<

Aw man, there you go enticing me again. I’m not too sure I’ll be going in January since I can’t really justify another plane ticket in 6 months to go to the same event. God I love how BIG her eyes look even on stage. Sometimes big makeup makes eyes look beady on stage but hers is so.. MAGICAL! xD
