Epoxies, Calpoly, Mosquitos in Love, Birthdays, Daria, Signing


I need to get caught up with these picture posts before they get too old. I still have tons more to upload, but here are the ones from April at least!! April was definitely one of the craziest, most stressful months of my life. Can’t say it was all good or all bad, just crazy! Most of it is too personal to write about here, so let’s be shallow and make this a picture post! :-D

One of the good things that happened involves a certain Miss Roxy of The Epoxies. I LOVE the Epoxies, and by a stroke of pure dumb luck, Roxy stumbled across some of my work and liked it!! She contacted me about designing some stuff for her, so we’ve been working on that. I haven’t really had time to sew shit for eBay lately cuz I wanna make sure the stuff I make for Roxy is good. Cuz I LOVE her. L-U-V.

And I turned 25 last month. The Epoxies were playing on the night of my birthday, so we made it my “unofficial” mini birthday party. Needless to say, I got wasted (stupid Craig making me do shots, and random strangers buying me drinks after Roxy announced onstage that it was my birthday haha).

And last month, Orange got really sick and had to be hospitalized for 5 days. It ended up costing me $978!! She’s better now, thank god. Now she’s back to her usual… lying around the house doing absolutely nothing!

My aunt went to Vietnam last month, so she asked us to take my cousin Andrea to her freshman orientation at Cal Poly. We stayed at the world famous Madonna Inn! Tons of celebrities like Courtney Love and Madonna stay here. I couldn’t capture all of its charm in these photos, but it’s the cutest place ever!! Each room has a wacky theme.

My cousins Andrea and Ashley. My sister says, “Inside those pretty little heads lie 2 giant brains.” And it’s true!!! I nearly shit my pants when I found out Ashley’s cumulative GPA is 4.57 and Andrea’s is “only” 4.3. WHAT THE FUCK?! Back when I was in high school, 4.0 was the highest you could get. These girls go to a prestigious private school and are acing all their honors classes!

Here are some pictures from my sister Sarah’s birthday! Our birthdays are only four days apart (April 20 and 24), so every year we celebrate together. But this year we decided to have 2 separate parties, which I think was really just an excuse to party twice in one day. Sarah got the day and I got the night.

This looks like it should be a poster for a new WB show called “Sistery Love!” Actually, what really happened is that me and Sarah think we have giant heads, so we make Lisa stand in front. Try it, it works! (Even though my head is still as big as Lisa’s, so I guess technically that means it doesn’t work)

Crazy Event #23894938432 for the month of April. Daria got out of jail, and we put her straight to work modeling for my website! Isn’t she STUNNING?!?!?! Don’t be fooled by her cuteness though, you haven’t seen her gunshot wounds!

Patrick wanted to shoot her in mid air, so we kept making her jump off the porch. She broke my favorite shoes! And we didn’t even get the shot!! Haha!

You know you’re Asian when you reach for the lint roller and it’s covered in soy sauce packets.

Kevin and Brent. Brent is one of my favorite people on earth! He and his wife Lori LOOOOOOVE to eat. They can go to any restaurant in San Jose and the wait staff will know them by first name and give them special treatment!! A few years ago Brent even received a personal letter from the owner of Chilli’s, thanking him for eating there so much. Now that’s what I call dedication!

We were making fun of Kevin cuz he designed that logo years ago, and now it’s on clearance for $5!! Oh wait, correction–$4.95!

And his name is last on the flyer too, haha! Like, “Oh okay I think we have room for one more name, sure we’ll put Kevin on it!”

Anyway, it’s time for me to go to bed! I will upload all of this month’s pictures… in August or something.
