I am Richard Simmons

I walked 26 BLOCKS today in my brand new pink running pants, and I feel GOOD!! I want to get in shape, for REAL this time. I hate that I’m always so tired and lazy, that I can never sleep at night, that when I AM awake I never want to do anything that requires any kind of physical effort, that I spend all my energy wrecking my body boozing and partying, that I always feel like if anyone were to cut open my body at any given time an avalanche of beer and hamburgers would come pouring out. I wanna start taking good care of myself so that I can feel HEALTHY, ALIVE, and GOOD about my body, yay!

So I walked 26 blocks today just to see if I could do it, and guess what! I can! It took about an hour, but it was actually pretty fun. I got to pet lots of stray cats, and I felt quite sassy in my pink running pants. I am going to try to do this every morning, but don’t hold me to it. Let’s see how long this one lasts, hahaha.

  • u go girl! u sound like me, ill get ALL motivated to work out/run, and get all kinds of cute adidas running/exercise gear to motivate me even more,then ill get lazy and stop. But you can do it..i.m going to start running again to, its my 12th day of not smoking right now tho..im going to wait till its been a month,t hen im going to start runnming again! :)

    Makes me think of my mom…. except she managed to find some hideous lime green track pants to jog in. She says she wears them so no reckless drivers hit her but I think those pants make a pretty decent target!

    Good luck on your fitness goal. I have yet to step foot in the gym and I’ve been paying for a membership for over a year now.

      Moms rule. My mom went through this phase where she wore a red sweatshirt and khakis EVERY SINGLE DAY, and every time she went to Target people would ask her for help.

    26 blocks??? Dang girlie…good job. Hey have you ever seen that line of snacks that he put out in the 80s (er, or maybe the 90s?). Someone gave me a box once—they were orange cheetos (diet cheetos of course) and they’re called SLIMMONS snacks. HAH! I think I still have ‘em somewhere…

    I got a stationary bicycle, tons of aerobics, yoga and taebo videos but still a TELLETUBBY. LOL! Yah all know what the telletubbies look like, don’t we??? Marty said that with all the exercise equipments I have…I SHOULD BE THE FITTEST PERSON on EARTH! Hahahhaha!

    I cut out the beer but of course I still need the various coctails of meds and other alcohol running through my bloodstream. I am trying to get “toned” whatever the fuck that means.     hey girl, i dont know if you remember me, i asked you about your sewing machine. i didnt even know a gameboy sewing machine EXISTED and now thanks to you im getting one from santa this year. anyway, im mad spun and im leaving comments on peoples journals. youre fucking ridiculously cool. and you wear your makeup SO well, ive always been timid to wear makeup cause i cant figure out how to make it look fresh since im asian (you know?), but youre like an inspiration to me to try. what else… your clothes are AWESOME. i want to be you when i grow up.

    Walking and running are lame, take dance it’s more fun. You might be more likely to stick with it and it’s not just a cardio workout it tones also but it makes your muscles more graceful and lean instead of all bulky. I should probly start doing it again. I haven’t worked out in so long. Goddamn sewing machine takes up all my time…

      No way, I like walking, cuz at least I have a destination and am going somewhere! Those 26 blocks I walked were to the post office. With dancing, it seems kind of pointless because when I’m done, I’m still in the same place I started, haha

        26 blocks is a lot of fucking blocks! i was excited when my brother got me a mountain bike for graduation. i haven’t actually graduated yet… maybe he’s trying to tell me something. i was riding around san lorenzo like i’ve never been here before. i’ve been meaning to ride it a lot more but i’m too busy sitting on my ass. nice hamburger image. if they cut me open they’ll find golden grahams, apple jacks, cinnamon toast crunch, crispix… maybe cheetos… salsa, hummice and tortilla chips.

      No way!! I walked 26 blocks all the way over to the post office on St. John and back!!! That takes an hour, dude.

      You guys are working out today, right? I’d go, but I’m gonna go to a Nashville Pussy show tonite and don’t wanna show up all sweaty. Look at me already making excuses to get out of it, haha
