Thanksgiving, Christmas, Miss Conduct, Trannyshack, Blair, Rocoo, Quyen + Victor, Soybaby art show

According to my horoscope in YM, I should be expecting a racy phone call from Ron Perlman on October 4!!

But I don’t think Kevin will mind. Cuz he’ll be having “plenty of fun” with another guy anyway!

Hey guess what! We’re gonna be in Vancouver from Saturday the 19th thru Tuesday the 22nd. It was Kevin’s Valentines Day present to me cuz I’ve been dying to check out that city forever! And now we get to spend 4 days there! Anyone have any suggestions as to which clubs, stores, or touristy things that we absolutely must visit? It’s probably soooo cold there right now. I don’t even know how to dress for cold weather!!

I haven’t posted a “real” update since Halloween. So here ya go!

These were taken around Thanksgiving. We were walking home from the bar when we ran into Craig, the bartender from the Blank Club. He was riding his bike home, so we invited him over for a “few” cocktails. Which really means, “WOO HOO, MAKE US SOME DRINKS, CRAIG!” After a few very lethal shots, I attempted to ride his bike in the house and crashed into the wall.

Spoooooooooky picture of Kevin, Craig and Jade

Pouty Kevin, Craig, half of me

Kevin cheers as Jade falls into his lap

Shrinkle sans makeup, pants falling off

Here are some Christmas party pictures. I live for company Christmas parties!!! Good food, open bar, and you get to dress up fancy like you’re something sophisticated. We went to 3 company Christmas parties in one weekend. They were all in San Francisco, so we just packed our bags and stayed up there all weekend! I wore the same dress to all three parties, so I totally stunk like booze and sweat by Party #3. Here are some pictures from Kevin’s company party (Electronic Arts) at fancy schmancy Westin hotel.

Kevin be pimpin’ with me and Jade!!

I be pimpin’ with Mark

The next day, we met up with some friends at the Cheesecake Factory on top of Macy’s in Union Square. There were cops everywhere and the streets were blocked off. We thought there was going to be some kind of parade, it being Christmas and all. Turns out there was a bomb threat!! How exciting! We decided to stay and eat anyway. Afterwards, we met up with our friends Gina and Brett. Brett is an artist for a porn company. His job is to photoshop porn ads to make the dicks bigger, boobs perkier, butts smoother, etc! He basically makes porn stars look good. So remember kids–it’s not real!!!

Brett’s girlfriend Gina is a clothing designer for Levi’s. She is awesome x 100000 and talks to her cat in a funny language that goes, “Kikikikiki nananananana!” Anyway, Brett’s company was having their Xmas party that night, and Kevin and I decided at the last minute that we should crash it. We were killing time shopping when I ran into none other than gorgeous Julie (julicide)! We were crossing the street at the same time and bumped into each other in the crosswalk. I asked her what she was doing, and she said, “I have to buy new pantyhose for my company Christmas party tonite.” I said, “How funny, I’m going to a company Christmas party too!” Then Julie sees Brett and goes, “Brett? What are you doing here?” Turns out they work together and we’re all going to the same party. Small world!

The party was awesome. It was held at the California Culinary Academy, so the food was AMAZING! I was tempted to do the ghetto Asian thing and fill my bag with chocolate covered strawberries but I wussed out. Unfortunately no porn stars showed up like we’d hoped, but towards the end of the night a couple dozen people dressed in Santa suits crashed. That’s when we knew it was time to leave!!

So we headed over to my sister’s company’s Xmas party at the Fairmont. It was kinda dying down by the time we got there cuz it was an older crowd. There was some really bad disco cover band. Here are some pictures of me with my sisters.

Here are some funny pictures from the Blank Club the following week.

Check out the height difference between me and Julie (misscon)!!!!!! Notice she’s already stooping a little bit, but her entire head still gets cut off and my face is at her boob level.

Now here she is again, probably sitting on the floor to be at my height!

Yum yum

Cute picture of Kevin and Julie, too bad it’s blurry :-(

Rosemary and me

I think this one was taken at karaoke night. Matt, me, and Ellie. I seem to get my picture taken at karaoke nite a lot, which gives the overall impression that I love karaoke. But that couldn’t be further from the truth cuz I’ve NEVER karaoke’d before my whole life!! I just like to drink, watch and laugh.

Here are some pictures from Trannyshack! This was sometime around Xmas. Marcy’s friend Foxxy, drag queen extraordinaire, was doing a Gwen Stefani number and asked us to be “fruitsy” backup dancers. I originally said I’d do it, but then when I found out about Maus’s surgery, I had to back out. :-( So my sister, Marcy, and Vanae ended up doing it without me. But I did come out to show my support! :-) And they looked so cute!!!! I can’t dance anyway, so I woulda fucked the whole thing up, haha.

Gettin’ readyz

Here’s a picture from when Blair came out to visit last month. This was taken at the Bar on Castro!

He doesn’t know I have a Livejournal, so I can say whatever I want about him without censoring myself HA! I first spotted Blair 4 years ago. He looked like this:

I’d see him all dolled up at Trannyshack and wanted him sooo bad, but I was too shy to say anything! One nite, he was standing by himself in a skimpy mini skirt made of burgundy feathers. I kept telling Jade how hot he was, so she walked right up to him and told him I was checking him out! Then she forced me to say hi. I was so nervous, I said hi, ran my fingers thru the feathers on his skirt, and said, “Well that’s all I guess” and took off. A few weeks later I saw him again and we were both drunk, so I had more courage. I followed him into the bathroom and we started talking. Then he told me he loved me (?!), and gave me his number! Not bad! The following Monday, we went out to dinner, then to a few bars. I think I only had one drink, but I lied and said, “Oh geez, I don’t think I’ll be able to drive home tonite. Is it okay if I just spend the nite with you?” :-D We cuddled, that’s all–I swear to god! He had just bought this terrible rock-hard pillow from Ross that gave me a bad neck, so I said, “This pillow is useless! Here, let me get closer so I can share yours.” Heeheeheee.

He kept telling me he liked girls, but after our 89237498325th date, he changed his mind and decided he only liked guys. Wow that makes me feel really good knowing that after hanging out with me he can now confirm that he is GAY!! Thanks!!! He moved to New York at the end of that summer. I only see him once or twice a year now.

So when he came to town last month, we had dinner and went out for a few drinks. We were sitting at the bar talking, when out of the blue Blair says, “Let’s kiss. I miss it!” I said okay. But every time we tried to kiss, we’d start cracking up and he’d spit all over my face.

Afterwards I dropped him off at his friend Kennedy’s house, where he was staying. I went to use the bathroom…. and… and… yeah… Hi Kennedy! Nice to see you in here!

* * * * * * * * * *

So there’s this little cat who hangs around Japantown who has stolen my heart. His tag says Rocoo, and I see him every time I walk to the Japanese supermarket. He seems lonely and is very affectionate. After I took these pictures, I sat on the bench and he curled up in my lap. Elisa, have you seen this poor guy around the neighborhood? The last few times I saw him he was VERY dirty. :-( I want to bring him treats next time, but I wonder if it’s rude to assume someone else isn’t taking good care of their cat. I know I would be offended if someone saw Maus or Tako and said, “Poor cats! They must have a bad mother. I’ll bring them treats next time I see them!”

So… as everyone knows by now, Maus’s surgery went really well! When we went to go pick him up from the hospital, I noticed they had this tag on his cage. When I asked about it, the nurse was like, “Uh… well… let’s just say he wasn’t the easiest to handle!” Hahahaha. Poor Maus!

Random picture of me and Michelle (dangerrrdoll) at the Blank Club

My cousin Quyen got married!! The wedding was awesome because our family is Vietnamese Buddhist, and her new husband Victor is Mexican. So they had a Buddhist ceremony in the morning, and a mariachi band in the evening!!! Rock on. Interracial weddings are always the best. Can’t wait till me and Kevin have our German-Vietnamese one!

Zee beautiful bride and groom surrounded by family. Kids, this is the only time you’ll see a Mexican guy wearing a Vietnamese ao dai. Go Victor, Go Victor!

Lisa, Johnny, me, Kevin

Sarah and Matt

God I just realized me and Kevin have 9823748923 pictures that look exactly like this

If you live in the SF Bay Area, you must visit Patrick (soybaby)’s art show!!! More details HERE. Here are some pictures from the opening reception. I didn’t get any pictures of Patrick cuz he was hiding upstairs most of the time!

Look it’s meeeeeeee!! On the right with the pink background. Patrick took that picture of me 3 years ago when we first met at Cal State Hayward. Awwwwww memmmmorrries!!

Second picture from left… I made that dress! Bottom picture of Anzhelika holding glass to her face–I styled that shoot. Go Amy, Go Amy! Shit Patrick we gotta work together again soon. But make a definite “for-sure” date so that neither of us can flake! BTW, did you know Anzhelika quit modeling?

Me and the Sandy (angrybutter)

The Melissa (makeupagogo) and me. This is the best picture ever because Melissa totally hated my guts in high school!!! We didn’t go to the same school, but we always saw each other at “teen” shows and she’d make comments like, “Ewww! Someone left a trail of glitter alllll over the fucking bathroom!” when I was obviously the only person in the bathroom and happened to be covered in glitter. This is the first time we’ve seen each other in 8 years. Look how pretty she is! I love you Melissa the teenage bitch!

That is all for now. Jade is coming over later and we’re going to ride our bikes to 8th and St. John to feed some homeless cats I found there yesterday. One of them actually bit me, and I bled!! Hope I don’t have rabies now. I will bring my camera and take pictures of the cats. There are like 2983748924332 of them, and they all have short legs! MUST BE SEEN TO BE BELIEVED!!

And I apologize in advance if I’m not able to answer every comment. I find that one of the reasons I never update is because I don’t have time to answer all the comments, and this makes me feel really guilty. Sorry! But please do post tips on Vancouver if you have any. :-)

And don’t forget to bid on my eBay auctions! Click the picture and it’ll open in a new window!

And erm… there’s a nice mall just outside of vancouver, you can get the sky train to it. Vancouver is pretty pretty. I wanna go back there so bad, but i think i’m gunna go to Cali this summer

    • yeah, come to Victoria!!

Victoria is awesome! It’s really pretty here right now – I saw daffodils blooming today. If you can’t get over to the island, go to my favorite restaurant in Yaletown (a neighbourhood of Vancouver) called Section 3…they have an awesome neon sign that says “nerd.” and hot waitresses in short skirts. I will try to give you some more pointers on Vancouver/Victoria later when I am not late for an OB/GYN appt (yuch!!)…

  • amyrlin says:

  • hehe I love the Blair story! So cute! I knew a girl in high school who dated this guy right before he came out of the closet and I always made fun of her for turning him gay. hehe

  • chirashi_don says:

Hey I live in Vancouver. I’m a bit of a homebody, but Davie street is great for shopping, clubbing and eating.

It isn’t REEEALLY cold, because I see prostitues out in short skirts all the time ;P

I do wear my jacket during the day when I’m out though.

  • sciencegeek says:

    Aww…your update made me smile.
Anyway, I don’t know much about Vancouver, as I haven’t been, and my grandparents haven’t lived there since they were kids. It a gorgeous city, though, and Vancouver Island is supposed to be nice. *thinks*
They have black squirrels, like the rest of Canada. Apparently there aren’t any in the states. There is loads of stuff there – Mountains, beaches etc.
Sorry I’m not of much help.

  • hkpunkette84 says:

Ahh I love the Betsey Johnson dress you’re wearing in the first pics, I won the same one in black from Anna/legendarypinkdolly but it got lost in the mail, i’ll forever be on the hunt for another!!

  • teenychicka says:

Oooh Vancouver! I’m moving there in the summer! Granville Island is always fun for me! There’s science world..kinda cool if you’ve never been I suppose O.o There is a giant mall called Metrotown, pretty hard to miss! Oh goodness, there are a ton of places to go…just walk down Robson and Davie! I hope you have fun doll! ^_^

    • amy says:

We went to Metrotown and thought it was so funny!! Like how they have grocery and fruit stands in the mall. Hahaha I love it!

      • teenychicka says:

Hehe I know, what’s up with that!? There’s a lil merry go round somewhere in there too, and I always want to ride it but if I do, whoever is with me will disown me *pout* And it costs five bucks to take a picture in the wig store?? O.o Strike!

  • Awesome pictures. Missed your posts, you perky bitch. :D!!

  • filmnoir says:

Love the photos! Hehe, you know after going out with my first boyfriend for a month he decided he was gay…I thought ‘ok well, its probably not because of me’…that was until the same thing happened with my next boyfriend, hmmm.

  • nessabop says:

    =)

In your new auction photos, your haircut is friggin awesome! I sooo wanna cut my hair, I’ve been obsessing about it, and I get antsy when it gets past my shoulders… it’s been past my shoulders for a while now… lol.

Yeah! And you’re a Taurus too!?!?! Woot! My birthday is April 20th, what’s yours?

    Yay for Amy! =)

    • amy says:

      Re: =)

Hey stop stealing my birthday!!!! Mine is April 20 too!! Don’t you hate how everyone is always stoned on your birthday? And don’t you love how we have the same birthday as Hitler and Joey Lawrence? (”Whoa!”)

      • nessabop says:

        Re: =)

Haha, yes! Pothead New Year, and all… I actually have people who demand to see my driver’s license to see if it’s really my birthday. People are crazy about 4/20! Also, as far as events go, sadly, the Columbine Shooting was on our day… the Oklahoma City Bombing was the day before I believe, and I think that’s all that comes to mind… ha!

Mid 20’s, here I come! I’ll think of you on our day. =)

  • Do the cats in the park look like these cuties?

  • Have a fab time in Vancouver sweetie!! I can just imagine you trying to dress for cold weather – you’re gonna come back with pneumonia, I know it!!

Dude, all your friends are so beautiful. Your photo updates are like a glam magazine’s centre spread!!

I LUUUURRVE that dress – I saw the black one with pink lace on ebay and wanted to kill myself because it was too small!! Betsey Johnson, yes?

Aaaaw, that cute cat has a Columbo-esque expression. You need to make him a teeny kitty sized dirty mac to wear so he can solve crimes!!

I don’t expect you to reply to this poppet so don’t feel pressured to do so. Man, that sounds like reverse psychology!! IT ISN’T!!!! I swear!! Anyhoo, muchos hugs!! ♥ ♥ ♥

    • tigerbalmer says:

Dude, you’re vietnamese? How did I not know that?
I can’t wait for my vietnamese wedding either, although… sometimes I’m not sure I want to get married, I like unfinalized situations… but to hear the chopsticks banging on the glasses for our kisses… CLINK CLINK MAKE OUT!

  • mmemarilyn says:

My anus is pretty unpredictable sometimes, too.
BEST BETSEY JOHNSON DRESS EVER!!! !!! !!! I fucking hate being poor.
You & your sisters look stunningly gorgeous, as usual.
You need to take more pictures of you where you are NOT smiling. You always have this big toothy grin, but it usually looks forced unless you are drunk!! Its like you are the poster child for what to do when someone says “cheese!!” I want some pissed off shrinkle footage. Like dont you ever get pissed off and knock over bar stools?? You should be brawling with bitches, like Avril Leveigne hahahaha.

    • amy says:

Really? Haha! I think the reason I always have a big smile is cuz I am tipsy in like 99.9999999% of my pictures. I will try to be an angrier drunk next time, just for you! :-D

  • Hi! Come to Victoria and visit me! The ferry ride from Vancouver is very very beautiful :) It’s not very cold right now – come on, we don’t live in igloos you know! A light jacket will do. While in Van, go shopping on Robson St, Granville St and Metrotown if you’re into humongous malls. While on Granville St, check out the Commodore Ballroom – it is the best venue for shows/concerts (they have 5 bars!). Chinatown is pretty fun (and busy – it’s definately a lot like the Chinatown in San Franciso). Ummmm… oh yeah, and go to T-barz (strip club); it’s supposed to be very ‘exotic’. Have fun while you’re there! You’ll love it. Trust me.

    • amy says:

Aww thanks!! You’re wrong about the light jacket though, haha! The first day we were there, we left the hotel in light jackets. After one black, we had to turn around and get our heavy winter coats! We are wusses! :-D

  • Sarah is absolutely stunning! U shoudl post more often. Your pictures are always so colorful!

  • _pervert_ says:

awww. I love your really long posts!

This picture doesnt look like you!

    • amy says:

Haha I think it’s cuz I’m trying to grow my eyebrows out! I’ve been a compulsive eyebrow plucker for years and am trying to grow them back

  • Me again. If you end up in Victoria, don’t forget to go to the world-famous Butchart Gardens – just stunning. And if you get bored of the flowers, watching cute japanese tourists are fun too ;)

  • pixiewhip says:

Celebrities is a great dance-a-thon of a gay club. Dream and the Block both are stocked with local designers (on Cordova Street) and South Main is the “I’m so hip I can wear a mullet” area that has tons of good stores and coffee shops. Plus I live on it and it would be funny if I saw you walking by my house.

    • pixiewhip says:

I don’t know why people are telling you to go to Victoria. It is pretty much the most boring place EVER. Like imagine an English granny designed a town and then a bunch of crackheads moved in but kept really quiet.

More restraunts to go to : Locus on Main and 25th has awsome decor and hot waitresses. The bartender at Chambar is world famous, and you can get drinks made out of boiled down pine needles.

Shine is pretty good club; Kelly Osbourne and Allan Cummings seem to frequent it. Sonar, depending on the night.

Don’t miss the Betsey Johnson store in Yaletown.

      • You’re the chick who called me a hyprocrite! Anyways, I live in Victoria and although it is full of old people, it is absolutely the most beautiful place to live (They call it the “City of gardens” I believe). Besides the point, British Columbia is the best goddamn place to live anyway!!

Off topic question: Do you go to UBC?

  • dayna says:

I love your posts with all of the exciting pics! You are so cute, and so are all of your friends/family.

    • BTW–if you are in Vancouver and can take the ferry to Victoria, its fucking gorgeous–and you should check it out. I have a good friend in Vancouver (he’s from there) and he would know some good places to go so I’ll ask him.

  • sugarkane3 says:

you have the most AMAZING hair <3

  • anarkystic says:

Hi, I live in Vancouver :)

Everybody talks about Victoria, but I say it isn’t worth the hassle. It’s a pretty sight, but nothing to do, Vancouver kicks its ass easily.

    Lounges:
DV8 on Richards and Davie: An arty place, good music all the time, nice drink specials. For two people, grab the buckets. My favorites at Purple Helmet and Five Deadly Venoms.
Jupiter on Davie and… Jervis? It’s upstairs and has a nice patio. People go there for the martini selection, but I think most of them just go there to smoke while they drink.
Section 3 in Yaletown on Mainland (or is it hamilton): A little bit of an upscale lounge / club. Pretty average in most respects but has fancy clientelle.

    Clubs:
Shine on Water Street where it splits off of Cordova. It’s on the corner and goes underground. They usually have a pretty good live DJ, a bunch of good house and hiphop nights. I don’t remember off the top of my head which nights are which, but I’ve never been let down.
NOT THE ROXY. Roxy = Trampy. Everybody gets suckered into going there eventually, but it’s a well-stocked meat market.
Caprice on Granville gets some good reviews but I’ve never been their myself. House music, generally.
An irish club, the Blarney Stone on Carrall and Cordova is a nice place, usually has a good irish band playing. Very upbeat dancy sorta thing.
The Lotus Sound Lounge. They get some good drum and bass on Tuesday nights, but I think they have some other hard house and dark wave nights. Neat place, feels very industrial.

    Dining:
Chambar on Beatty. Tough to get into but they have a wine and food selection to die for. The menu isn’t too pricey, but it is quite good and they have tons of great wine.
Wild Rice on Pender and Abbot. Nice selection of “modern chinese” food. All kinds of neat dishes. Nothing too big, so it can get expensive if you are hungry. The boar is great. And their house drinks are quite good. I like Shanghai Alley and The Cordova St.
Bin 941 on Davie and Burrard. A tiny little american-ish place, with great food in french portions. Everything i have had there has been wonderfully delicious.
Lickerish. Down the street from Bin 941 on Davie and Burrard. yummy food and drinks. More pricey than Bin 941, though.

    Touristy:
Gastown is tourist central. The steamclock is fake, don’t get tricked ;) And if you walk down too far from the harbour you hit Crackheadville pretty fast.
It is somewhat fun just walking down Granville on Friday and Saturday nights around 10, lots of people.
    Stanley park is huge, too.
The Elbow Room on Davie and Richards is a great place to have brunch one morning. They have a… unique waitstaff.

Weather will be “nice” while you are up here, in the 40s to low 50s during the day and sunny atleast through the weekend.

I’ll have a friend in town this weekend as well, but feel free to give me a call if you need any more directions or suggestions. 604-779-2579

    • here, here!

      Great suggestions for Vancouver…
      Just to add…
The Caprice is a nice club, I’ve been there twice I think and managed to have a pretty good time.
I also like The Royal which is fairly questionable once they turn the lights on but the DJs there always play my songs.
Check out The Commodore Ballroom for live shows…not sure what’s happening around there this weekend.
My Vancouverite friends often hang out at the Blarney Stone and The Cellar.
For shopping, I love Robson St and Granville St. Robson has some big name stores like Bebe and more local stuff like Bang-On. My favorite shoe store, Fluevog, is on Granville.
Actually, I found you a link about shopping in Van…http://vancouver.com/entertainment/shopping/index.htm
      What else, what else?
For touristy stuff, go to Stanley park and Granville Island. Gastown is good, too. The Vancouver Aquarium in located in Stanley park and I think it is worth it to go if you like that sorta stuff. If you go to Granville Island, you need to check out the market, The Granville Island Toy Factory, and another store called The Ocean Floor…my friend Rachael works at The Ocean Floor and sometimes at the toy store.

Anarkystic is right about the weather…it’s quite nice, you’ll only need a light jacket.

As for coming to Victoria…well, it depends on what you are looking for. I have lived here for a number of years and have fondly nicknamed it the home of the newly wed and nearly dead. Yes, Victoria is a “family” place and an “elderly” place. We do have some neat stuff here, though…and the ferry ride can be an adventure in itself. We have some awesome local stores including Smoking Lily, one of the smallest stores you’ll ever see (only 40-something sq. feet) which makes some interesting and unique screen prints on shirts, scarves, etc…a few retro stores including Flavour, and Rebel Rebel, which features some designer stuff and some DIY stuff. We also have a boot factory here, and I work at it…it’s called Viberg Boot, and we make some of the toughest boots around! The waterfront and harbour are amazing to walk around on a sunny afternoon, and Buchart Gardens is spectacular. For night life, it is definately more subdued than Vancouver, but there are a number of clubs and we do get quite a few good live preformances.

Now that I feel I’ve written a book, I want to wish you an awesome time on your trip no matter what you decide to do! If you make it over to Victoria and need anything…call me (250)888-5440

      • amy says:

        Re: here, here!

Thanks so much, doll! We ended up not having time to go to Victoria. DUDE YOU NEVER TOLD ME THERE’S A BETSEY JOHNSON NEAR THE BEBE! AHHHHHH I went on a shopping spree hahahaha

        • Re: here, here!

hmmm…not sure how I forgot to mention the Betsey Johnson store, one of my frequent shopping destinations in Van, especially considering the fact that I “know” you like her so much…

    • amy says:

WOW Thanks for all the great tips! I printed out your comment and brought it with me to Vancouver, and it helped a lot! Bin 941 was the BEST restaurant I have ever been to, hands down! We don’t have tapa restaurants out here, so I went crazy. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!! Also, I saw the steam clock and didn’t get what the big deal was? Haha. We also went to DV8 ad the Elbow Room. I’ll probably post a full review of my trip later, but I’m tirrrrred right now! just wanted to say thanks for the advice! :-)

      • anarkystic says:

glad to help, you can repay me next time you come up by showing up somewhere and acting like you know me so I can be the guy who knows the girl with the wild styles ;)

P.S. I’m from San Jose, I’ve been in Vancouver for about 8 months now.

        • amy says:

Oh my god! I’m reading your journal and am laughing soooo hard right now at your emo cutting picture?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!!? Hahahahahaha

  • deadxbunnies says:

fun funf un! thanks for sharing your pictures. Aww julie looks pretty . great shot with the boobs you freak :P

  • cybermui says:

Last time I was in Van, we drove through Hastings (street) at night. Wow. Never seen stuff like that before. The WHOLE STREET looked like *Night of the Living Dead* with crackhead zombies just flailing about and wandering everywhere. It just happened that a Salvation Army (?) truck or something was giving out free coffee, so there were litterally HUNDREDS of ppl just wandering towards/around the truck (it looked like zombies trying to devour brains). Yeah..it was surreal. I study law and saw this documentary about how they want to ban rice wine and glue being sold in convenience stores b/c ppl get high off of that stuff…and every weekend, cops go around to cart dead bodies away. Hmm. Yes, Vancouver is a *beautiful* city…but Hastings is something you gotta see :P~

Your life sounds like it’s so much fun. Somehow the subject of videogame workers came up between me and my fiance and I remembered Kevin worked for EA. I told my fiance and he was green as a bean with jealousy. ;P

PS: What brand is that pink cardigan you have for sale? I love it but too small for my “package” aka boobs. ;P

One of my most favorite things in the world is to go watch karaoke and get drunk. :) My friends and I will record the people singing on our cell phones. It’s a wonder we haven’t gotten our asses kicked for making fun of people karaoke-ing, but that shit is FUNNY! It’s like watching the American Idol tryouts.

Although I end up getting blitzed and doing my own rendition of “Welcome To The Jungle” by Guns N’ Roses sometimes, so I guess I shouldn’t make fun of them so much. ;)

I want to go to Trannyshack!! I’m DYING to see a good drag show… Especially for my bachelorette party! :D Too bad it’s so damn far away!

wow this is so weird… I had a random thought this morning about… what if Amy came to Vancouver and I ran into her… and behold! wow wow wow… if you’re staying in just Vancouver… you must go down Granville Street, Davie, Robson, Yaletown and Gastown…

I recommnd Subeez for food… it’s a nice art gallery style industrial bar and grill place… most of the food there is organic and it’s just so fucking good… and great for photos too… every few months they change the art works being displayed.. I love going there… it’s on Homer and Smithe street…

I live half an hour drive from Vancouver… but it would be cool to meet you in person o^_^o <3

There are also tons of art galleries around… dress warm… I usually wear skirts anyways… but I’m used to this weather and have tons of fun!

    • amy says:

You know what I noticed while I was in Vancouver? ALLLLLL the Asian girls wear mini skirts! It was so funny. When we first got there, I noticed everyone was bundled up in pants and I was the only one in a skirt. But the more I walked around, the more skirts I saw, and they were all on Asian chicks! Haha

      • lilitha says:

hahaha… actually that is something quite common.. I noticed that a lot when I was working Downtown… then again I am one of those girls

  • A long time ago I use to go to this snowcone place. You could choose 3 flavors. I always got blueberry, raspberry and strawberry. Your hair copied my snowcone, they look EXACTLY the same. Give me 10% of your ebay auctions or I will sue you.

  • hmmm everyone keeps saying how Victoria is an ‘old people’ place.it’s one of the satanic capitals of the world. so those just might not be your average grandparents hahaha.seriously the place is gorgeous, and crawling with exotic looking hippis in the summer.
no one mentioned commercial drive to shop in Van.,there’s treasure to be found :)
the weathers more of a bone chill cold from the ocean then just plain cold, definitly a place for knee highs or legwarmers.
there’s also a vintage thrift store on the corner of robson and granville that always has lots of crinolines for cheap, you have to go down some stairs.

Vancouver fucking ROCKS! I’m totally jealous of the great time you’re gonna have. ;)
I wish I could have gone to Patrick’s show, but I was in New Orleans. How much longer will it be running? Maybe I can still make it.
Give me a call when you get back from your trip. I have a buttload of clothes for you. Mostly just stuff you can work your magic on, but there’s a couple of couture pieces some slave gave me that you might want, as well. :)

I went to Vancouver this summer for my honeymoon. I love that city and want to move there soo bad. Here’s the things we checked out, Robinson Street great has a great shopping district and weird killer whales statues on the street. Must take a picture with one! I should upload my pictures from Vancouver and put them on my journal. There’s a dessert shop around the Robinson street area I think it’s called Death by Chocolate. Very good romantic place. The Lookout is a building with similar to the Space Needle in Seattle. I got some neat pictures from there. Also it has alot of historical facts and places to see. I also recommend the Art Museam and the Gastown area.

you can go to clubzone.com for the club information.

gahh, your hair must be frusterating to dye, right? my hair is similar to yours because its black ontop & blonde underneath. ive been meaning to dye the blonde part pink, but i thought that’d be an extreme pain to redye it every time it fades, and plus id have to seperate the black from the blonde! do you have any tricks to make it easier since ours is like the same? your hair rocks & is beautiful. SO ARE YOU!!
