The photo shoot me and Patrick (soybaby) spent many sleepless weeks working on last August is FINALLY out!!! This is a really huge deal to me–I know Vodka’s not a big magazine and I can’t exactly buy a heart-shaped jacuzzi with what I got paid, but my fucking clothes are featured in a 6-page fashion spread with my name credited and everything!!!!!!!!!! This is the first time I have seen my name in print (for something I’m proud of, anyway). I worked soooo hard on this shoot, and it’s a total dream come true to see this shit in A NATIONWIDE PUBLICATION!!!!
I scanned in a few of the pages. Some of the pix might not make sense because there’s supposed to be text to go with it, and I didn’t have time to scan everything in. But you get the gist. All of these pics were taken at my house cuz we had to go super low budget.

I’m happy! I feel like everything is going so well for me lately. I mean, for the past few months I’ve been feeling like a complete loser because this whole eBay thing has become so stagnant, boring, and pathetic. But with the start of the new year, things have just been getting SO much better, and I can honestly say that I’ve never been happier or more excited my whole LIFE! Incredible opportunities and projects have been coming my way, and I actually have things to look forward to and be excited about. I feel like I’m finally moving FORWARD with all of this and getting closer to reaching my goals. I’ve got two really exciting projects in the works right now that I don’t want to talk about because I believe in bad jinx, but every time I think about it I get this huge grin on my face and can’t WAIT!!!!
On a completely unrelated note. Yesterday was the 4-year anniversary of the day one of my best friends was murdered, and I didn’t even go to the cemetery to say hi. In fact, I think this is the first year that I didn’t get teary-eyed thinking about her. It’s just that I’ve been in such a GOOD MOOD lately. I still love her, but I’m too happy right now to dwell on sadness. Does this make sense? Or does it just make me a bad person?
It’s LATE. I’m gonna go to bed before I get too philosophical and sappy!!

Awww thanks!! Yeah we went to her opening in L.A. and it was weird meeting her too! But I think since we bought one of her paintings, she had to come over and say hi. Her English was kind of minimal, so we mostly stood there smiling and nodding at each other, haha!

I know what you mean! no way dude I did it all by hand..seriosuly….everything I made, I did by hand, it wasn’t professional looking at all, it was all like punk rock looking, thats the best way to put it!!! I like used a sewing machine once, when I had a job as a fashion designer for a museum, and we were designing outfits for like the 1900’s, omg fashion back then was NUTS! I mean the dresses were seriosuly out of this world. I didnt get to meet the lady that did all of them she got sick and stuff, but the dresses were always in my mind. It was the best job ever. I do now for you The Happy Ducky Dance of Luck and Good Fortune (it involves much hip swirling and rump shaking, along with a fair bit of arm flailing)! And about your friend, funerals and wakes and cemetary visits and crying and all that other stuff is not so much for the dead, but it’s for the living that are left behind. Those things are how we mourn, and how we heal. It’s not that you’ved moved on and away from her, but you gotta keep going, it’s what the living do. If you had still needed to go to the cemetary, you would have, but you didn’t, and that’s a good thing, you’re getting closer to healed. I don’t think your friend would want you to be a big ball of crying for her all the time. She’s always gonna be around you, you’ll always be wearing her tattoos, you know.
